Most of the people on Facebook I'm referring to have moved away from my hometown and have families and lives of their own. Lives I am no longer part of and I have no desire to infiltrate them as an old friend. I am available to them if they want to speak with me or reminiscence but we drifted apart naturally, it was a mutual action.

There are only so many times that I will try to resuscitate an old friendship, the onus isn't all on me.
